After the interviews at Sunrice, took a walk down from fort canning and ended up walking all the way to Bugis, passing by the contempt art space by the Singapore Art Museum. Took a snap of it as the huge bunny on top was such a queer yet adorable sight.

Invitation to Dream: A Fire Garden Installation by Compagnie Carabosse (France) as part of the 2010 Singapore Artsfest opening. Went down with Derek after dinner during the very first night. It was a beautiful evening that wasnt too warm, hence the heat from the flames didnt really bother me. Watched as the areas were slowly lit and the musicians at the various sites (it spanned from Empress Place - outside the Asian Civilisation Museum - to the Victoria Theater before ending finally at the Esplanade Walk) played their slow jazzy tunes. The fire and their various contraptions, the sensual and almost intoxicating music as it flows through the night sky was a delightfully exotic yet alluring combination.

Had some time after grabbing dinner during the dinner break (ha!) of the 7hour 40minutes long performance of Gatz by the Elevator Repair Service (USA). Wonderfully done performance may i add. Simply a marvel to watch. My butt hurts from the prolonged sitting though. Hahaha.
I had a horrid day that day, running late for work because my brain read 1400 as 4pm instead of 2pm. It was one of the worst days i guess. Was supposed to meet Haowei, Charissa and Derek for dinner but was actually pretty hesitant due to the mood. Still, decided to go in the end. Thankfully, seeing the sunset at the end of the day while heading to meet them, my mood was lifted. Thank God for the beauties in life.
